Eissmann Group Automotive expands Management Board

As part of the plans for a sustainable expansion of its business operations, particularly within the NAFTA countries, and the associated extension of the structure of the existing plants, Eissmann Group Automotive has made the decision to expand the current management board of the company. The highly successful long-standing management team, consisting of Dr. Klaus Elmer (CEO) and Norman Willich (CFO), will be joined by a Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Johannes Kuron (49) will take up the newly created post - which previously fell within the remit of the Chair of the Management Board, Dr. Klaus Elmer - with effect from 1 October 2013. In addition to being in charge of the “Central Production and Logistics” area, he will also be responsible for operational activities in subsidiaries worldwide. Johannes Kuron has extensive international expertise in the automobile supply industry; he worked for many years in different executive positions for the Modine Manufacturing Company in the USA and Europe, where recently, as Managing Director Operations for their European subsidiary Modine Europe GmbH, he was responsible for European operational activities in a comparable position.

Apart from this expansion, the current allocation of areas of activity in the Management Board remains unaltered.
