Eissmann opens joint-venture plant in Langfang, China

In September 2016, Eissmann Group Automotive opened their third joint-venture plant in China.

The new joint-venture plant in Langfang, China, was opened on Tuesday 20 September 2016 at an official ceremony. Dr. Elmer, CEO of Eissmann and Mr. Willich, CFO of Eissmann attended the opening ceremony along with many other guests, including members of the regional government.

The first location in China opened as long ago as 2010, with the second following three years later. This third joint-venture location is primarily intended to facilitate closer proximity to Daimler customers and to ensure rapid response times.

Eissmann Group Automotive acts as a partner in the development and value adding process in the automotive industry, and is a global leader in the manufacture of high-quality shifter modules, trim components and full car interiors. In 2016 the company achieved a turnover of 472 million Euros. The Eissmann Group was founded in 1964, and now operates from 14 locations all over the world.
