IT specialist (m/f) – Systems integration field


In the systems integration field IT specialists design and configure IT and telecommunications systems. As the service providers in-house or at customers' premises they set up such systems in accordance with customers' specifications, operate and manage them. This role includes using modern expert and diagnostic systems to localize and rectify any errors or faults that may occur.

They also advise both in-house and external users on selecting and using hardware. Producing system documentation likewise falls within the remit of an IT specialist, as does delivering training to colleagues.

Duration/start of training:
3 years, commencing on 01.09

Requirements:
Good school leaving qualifications, interest in IT extending beyond school work, excellent knowledge of data processing, communication skills and ability to relate to customers, well-planned, systematic approach to work, willingness to learn

Activities:
Planning, procuring and supporting systems solutions, programming, installing and configuring, systems development and maintenance

Subsequent fields of work:
IT Department (software development, database or network administration, systems analysis)
