Bachelor of Science (m/f) – business IT specialization

The course specializing in business IT falls under the Economics faculty and comprises 6 semesters, with each semester made up of both a practical and a theoretical component.

The theory modules, where students are taught specialist theory, are held at the Heidenheim site of Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg. The following practical phases are linked with the theoretical phases, i.e. students are deployed in departments relevant to the theoretical material they have just been taught. This allows specialist theoretical knowledge to be subsequently put to use in practice.

In the foundation phase students are taught fundamental theory relating to all the business and IT sectors of an industrial concern. The course focuses not only on methods used in business IT, system development, business studies and economics, but also on law and mathematics. The course is completed with a bachelor thesis at the end of the third year, and if successful the title Bachelor of Science is conferred.
